From their combined experiences, Khan and Anand formulated their vision of the ideal Web host, a company that could provide a reliable, friendly and personal Web hosting experience to customers of all sizes, all over the world. Hence, the birth of WireNine.

WireNine is a recognized leader in the Web hosting industry. We have earned numerous awards, not only for our services and support, but for our commitment to ethical standards within the hosting industry.

Our hosting network is monitored 24×7 by both in-house and third-party technicians, giving us the ability to address service issues before our customers are even aware of them! We have invested in powerful servers, which we house within the SoftLayer datacenter, a state-of-the-art facility with a robust and reliable backbone.
Fast, Friendly Support

We owe our success as a business to our customers—they’re the very heart of our business. By serving them quickly and with utmost care, we show our appreciation for their loyalty. We take our relationships with our customers very seriously, and we make every effort to demonstrate how much we value their business.
Affordable Pricing

We pride ourselves on delivering a first-rate customer experience at a price our customers can afford. There is no reason superior quality and fast, friendly service should come at a prohibitive cost. Our plans, loaded with generous hosting resources, start at just $3.95/monthly for shared web hosting plans and $24.95 a month for reseller web hosting plans, all powered with the quick and responsive support our customers have come to expect from us.

The datacenter features redundant UPS systems, generator backup, VESPA detection systems, closed circuit monitoring of all areas and entrances, 24 hour guard manned security, redundant a/c systems, and fiber from 5 separate providers.

Over the years WebFaction built their own monitoring systems which detect potential problems on servers before they can cause any crashes. They also put fewer people on each server than most hosting providers. As a result many people have reported that the servers were faster and more stable than the competitor’s.

Features

Fewer customers on each server (which leads to faster and more stable servers)

Great customer support (friendly and knowledgeable staff)

Modern and flexible software platform with tons of one-click installers

Scalable hosting (integrated load-balancing if you need it)

Rock solid hosting (over 6 years in business, servers in some of the world best datacenters)

Affordable and risk free (60-day moneyback guarantee)

We currently host 183886 websites and got plenty of room for your website also!

Our new corporate name resulted from the words: “Serve” and “Age”, that when combined (almost) spell our proud name. It is our goal to serve our customers while always keeping our systems up-to-date with the most modern technologies.
The Perfect Hosting Platform

Servage provides the next generation hosting platform, and is likely the most technically advanced and reliable platforms available today. Compared to traditional platforms our clustered platform revolutionizes the way web hosting works.

Downtime is not an option as all systems are in redundant setups – even our servers is mirrored in a fail tolerant way. In the event one server should fail it is automatically replaced by the other cluster nodes. Read more about this exciting technology, here.

Customer Satisfaction

Cluster reliability, speed and customer services are the keywords for our operation. Every single person in our organization understands this and works toward our common goal of total customer satisfaction. We understand satisfied customers are the key to our long term success in this competitive market.

Every single customer is treated with respect and our staff is standing by to help you around the clock – we are only one click away!

It is a pioneer of “grid hosting”, whereby multiple stand-alone servers are linked to provide additional capacity for clients during periods of peak demand. Current clients include Qantas, Adobe and Rip Curl.

Services

Media Temple’s primary business is website hosting for more than 200,000 websites from 40 countries on Grid-Service. Its grid hosting system uses a network of servers that work together as a team. Unlike traditional shared hosting, grid hosting can cope well with spikes in traffic as it can assign more servers to help carry the load. The service was launched on October 17, 2006.

Although Grid-Service offers clear benefits over traditional shared hosting solutions, it has come under criticism for service outages. Intermittent service availability has been a frequent problem. In one case, periodical downtime occurred between April 29, 2008 and May 28, 2008, until engineers made substantial changes to the system’s storage architecture.

Grid-Service will be replaced by a Cluster-Server in 2009. It will feature a re-architected storage system which will be designed to eliminate the main source of service instability that the Grid-Service suffered from.

Media Temple also provides a dedicated hosting service providing virtual private servers designed for clients whose websites experience high levels of traffic. Current clients include Diesel, Adobe, Rip Curl, Mashable, CheeseMind and Qantas
